Envelope Punch Board: Starburst Sayings Card

IMG_3139Hello!  Saturday was our team Stamp Camp and I have to say it was a success.  Everyone seemed to love the projects and things went smoothly.

Today’s card is one of my projects.  It’s a fun and easy card made with the Envelope Punch Board, Starburst Sayings stamp set and Starburst Framelits and Retro Fresh Designer Series Paper.

I started with a 6 7/8″ x 6 7/8″ piece IMG_3142of designer paper.  I punched and made the first score mark at 3 3/8″ on the Envelope Punch Board.  That was the most difficult part of the project….figuring out the sizes.  Once that was out the way it was smooth sailing!  I know you’re wondering why I used such odd measurements….well, I’m not quite sure.  If I remember correctly I “borrowed” the measurements form someone online.  Who knows?  It worked though!  🙂

The greeting I used on the inside piece of the card (it’s not attached to the designer paper) is from Really Good Greetings and the arrows are all from the Peachy Keen stamp set.

A really fun card and pretty easy to boot!  🙂

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

Word Play Birthday

003Here’s a bright and fun birthday card for you!  I knew I had to CASE this one when I saw it.  It’s so FUN!

The stamp set is from the Word Play stamp set that is retiring in just a few weeks.  The other items that I used on this card that are retiring are the Tangerine Tango Scallop Dot Ribbon (I am really going to miss this ribbon!) and the Color Spritzer Tool.  I think I’ll miss the Spritzer just because it gives such a neat look to the cards but I have to admit that it’s sometimes a little hard to use.  The secret is having a good, juicy marker and getting it lined up in the tool just right!

I love all of the bright colored pennants on the card.  They are what make it so fun! You could really have a lot of fun with this card design.  Not only would it be good for birthdays but you could do it up in school colors for a graduation card and put “congratulations” on it.  Hmmm….I like that idea…maybe I’ll have to try it this afternoon!  😀

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

Happy Black Friday!

Stamp Set: Wonderfall, Fabulous Phrases
Card Stock: Island Indigo, Very Vanilla
Designer Paper: Orchard Harvest
Accessories: Island Indigo Ruffled Ribbon
Tools: Simply Scored.

How many of you have been or are planning to go shopping today?  Not I!  I’m planning on staying home being a slug all day.  Ok, maybe I’ll straighten things up a bit and/or cut some card stock for classes next week but everything will be done slowly and leisurely!  Luckily the neighbors left my house in pretty good condition last night so there’s not too terribly much to do!

Yesterday I mentioned that I’d show you my table decorations…..well…here’s a picture of the little treat holders that I made for the tables.  They are SO easy.   Maybe while I’m doing nothing today I’ll put together a tutorial….probably not video since I haven’t mastered that yet but probably a PDF or something.  The one thing you’ll need to make them is your Simply Scored with the Diagonal Plate.

I’m off to do nothing.  Yesterday I was exhausted before the company even showed up so today I’m taking it easy and moving slow.  I thought about taking a walk but it sounds too much like work!  Ha!  Have a great day and I hope you score some great deals if you’re out shopping.  Oh….speaking of shopping…..don’t forget to check out the Online Extravaganza!  Just click on the “Order Online” button at the right and it will take you to my Stampin’ Up! store.  Happy shopping!  😀
