Wow!  Another great time at convention!  I’m exhausted but I’m already looking forward to next year!  Next year will be Stampin’ Up!’s 25th Anniversary and they’re already planning big things.  If you’re already a demonstrator you may want to mark your calendar for July 18-20 2013 so you can attend this fabulous event.  If you’re not already a demonstrator you may want to consider joining my team of SASsy Stampers (Seriously Addicted to Stamping).  We’d love to have you on our team.  There 4 of us from my team at convention this year and two of us won Prize Patrol (door prizes)!  How fun is that?

Cheryl was absolutely giddy about winning a Prize Patrol.  In our convention bags we all receive a colored wrist band (there are quite a few different colors/designs).  After a stamping demonstration on main stage the presentor will show the winning wristband on the screen and those lucky deomonstrators will receive some of the product that were demonstrated.  It’s all very fun and exciting!  Janet was pretty excited about winning too.  Neither of these girls have been coming to convention for too long a time (unlike us old-timers!).

Our group hasn’t been too lucky with the Prize Patrol the past few years so having two of us win was pretty exciting!

Oh, before I forget….Stampin’ Up! has a small regional event coming to Denver on Saturday Sept. 8th.  Have you thought about becoming a demonstrator?  This would be the perfect chance for you to check out what it’s like.  The cost is only $75 for a whole day of fun.  Let me know if you’re interested.  Registration begins July 26th and it fills up FAST!

Woo Hoo!  The time has come to head to Salt Lake City and the Stampin’ Up! Convention!  Convention is an absolute blast and once again this year I get to celebrate my birthday there with all of my Stampin’ Sisters!  😀

This card is my swap card this year.  I made 91 of the darn things!  Yikes!  They’re easy, fun and cute though.  I like them so much that we’ll be making them at our Stamp-a-Stack class at the end of the month!  🙂

The leaf image is from “Just Believe” and the sentiment is from the new “Loving Thoughts”.  I did use a few different types of designer paper and ribbon on the 91 cards.

I’m back from the northlands of MN/WI and Canada.  Vacation was busy but fun.  We spent a week in Canada at my husband’s family cabin where we caught tons of fish and ate too much  The picture to the left is me with the big walleye that I caught on our very last day.  Everyone else had been catching big fish all week but I waited to the end.   We caught enough for two meals during the week, froze some and even were able to bring 8 fish home for my parents!  It was great.  It’s nice and relaxing up there with no one around.

After Canada we headed back to Minneapolis for my niece’s graduation party.  It was good seeing relatives and friends that I hadn’t seen for a while.  Then it was on to WI to my parent’s cabin for a few days where we relaxed and visited with my sisters, parents, nieces and my cousin from Chicago.

Then it was back to fiery Colorado.  It was rather scary watching the national news say that the whole state of Colorado was on fire.  (Not really, it just sounds more sensational that way.)  We did have friends in Colorado Springs that had to evacuate but they’re already back in their house.  Please keep all of the firefighters, homeowners and business owners in your prayers.  Pray for cooler weather and RAIN!

Here are a couple of the other big fish we caught in Canada.  That’s my son Jared on the right and his girlfriend Margot on the left.  Like I said, it was good fishing!  😀

We left Colorado on Wednesday and arrived in Minneapolis this afternoon after spending the night in Sioux City, IA.  This scenic stop was shortly after we left Sioux City just before the MN border.  My husband just had to stop and show me!  😀  He’d been here before and wanted to share!  It’s pretty funny if you consider that we came from the Rocky Mountains!  😀

Hello!  Welcome to my new blog!  It’s finally ready to go….or at least as ready as I’m ever going to be!  I’ll probably still be switching things up and adding to it but here it is in all it’s glory!  Those of you who followed me on my Blogger blog may have noticed a slight change to the name.  Don’t worry!  It’s still me!  You may want to put it in your favorites or bookmark it because the title is a little long!  I’ve also changed my business e-mail address.  It’s now cindy@stampbystampcreations.com.  Yes, another mouthful.  Be sure to add it to your address book so you don’t have to type it in all the time!
