Is this not the cutest thing you’ve ever seen?  OMG!  I received a little goldfish card similar to this at convention and absolutely fell in love! TSC! Too Stinkin’ Cute!  The title gave away the fact that this adorable little fishy was made from a punch but can you guess which one?  It’s that darn Owl Builder Punch!  Who would have thought you could make so many adorable things from one punch!  I really admire those people who can look at a punch and come up with all of these ideas.  I certainly don’t see them just by looking at a punch!

In case you’re having trouble seeing it, the owl body is the fish body, half of the owl “vest” is the fin and the little heart from the owl punch is the little fish lips!  I have to say it again….TSC!  The fish “bowl” is made by folding a piece of window sheet or a transparency in half and placing it on your 3 1/2″ Circle Die so that the fold in the window sheet is just below the “edge” of your circle part of the die.

Have you come up with some creative ideas for punches or seen some on other websites?  Leave me a comment and tell me about them.  I love new ideas!

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

Even though the temperature is still in the 90’s and summer isn’t officially over for another month it just seems like it’s coming to a close.  The kids here in Colorado are back to school and Labor Day is next weekend!  Yikes!  Where did the summer go? I thought I should post this summer looking card before I get too carried away with fall, Halloween and Christmas!

We made this card a few classes ago.  It’s quite simple but very pretty.  The label is die cut with the Apothecary Accents Framelits and then paper pierced with the Paper Piercing Essentials Pack.  I just love all of the templates that you get for paper piercing in that one pack.  There are templates for basic shapes, punches and framelits!  Woo Hoo!

Don’t you just love these summery feeling colors?  Perfect for butterflies don’t you think?  I hope you have a great day.  Take care and Happy Stamping!

Bleached Everything Eleanor

Ink: Crumb Cake, Black StazOn
Accessories: Stampin’ Dimensionals, Dazzling Details
Perfect Plum Taffeta Ribbon
Tools: Aquapainter, Bleach, 1 1/4″ Square Punch, 1 3/8″ Square Punch

Hello!  The BIG Sale went well although I still have lots of items left.  I think I’ll keep them out for classes next week and hopefully get rid of a few more items.  Today’s card is one we made in classes last week.  Isn’t it beautiful?  I CASEd it from my Stampin’ Sister Gina.  Thanks Gina!  😀

I just love this technique!  I stamped the flowers with Black StazOn and then colored them in with bleach.  I did have to go out and buy new bleach as the old stuff I had on hand wasn’t bleaching the paper!  Who would have thought that bleach goes bad?!

Once I stamped the Crumb Cake background I really made it pop by running it through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.  What a great look!

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

Lovely Tea Gift

Isn’t this the cutest little gift idea?  We made these at the last team Shoebox Swap I went to in July.  This definitely gets a TSC! (Too Stinkin’ Cute!)  Carn was the creator of this little project.  I was quite enthralled with the honey stick…I had never seen one before!  (I know…it doesn’t take much to tickle my fancy!)

This project was pretty easy to make.  Wouldn’t it make the perfect little gift for someone who was a bit under the weather?  I may have to make a few of these to have on hand!

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

Bootiful Occasions – TSC!

Card Stock: Midnight Muse, Real Red, Soft Suede, Whisper White
Ink: Midnight Muse
Markers: Midnight Muse, Real Red, Soft Suede
Accessories: Midnight Muse Striped Satin Ribbon
Tools: Big Shot, Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

Hello!  I’m loving this “Bootiful Occasions” stamp set!  This card is CASEd from the talented Michelle Theriault.  Of course, I changed it up again although hers was adorable as is!  This card is TSC!  (Too Stinkin’ Cute!)  I can’t wait to play with this stamp set again!  OK….you will see another card made with this cute cowboy boot in the new future as we’ll be using it classes next week!  😀

I LOVE the new Woodgrain Embossing Folder for the Big Shot!  I can’t wait to use it on fall cards!  I used a Stampin’ Sponge to rub a little Soft Suede ink on the embossed image and it just made it pop.  That’s one of my favorite little tricks to use with embossing folders.

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

Floral District Purse & Note Cards

Hello!  This is the project that we made in this week’s classes.  A little purse with four note cards.  Once everyone figured out the scoring for the purse the class went pretty quick.  Everyone had a different piece of designer paper from the Floral District Designer Paper pack and different colored card stock and ribbon.  It was fun to see the different final projects.  We used the Note Cards & Envelopes from Stampin’ Up! (#107311 pg 160) which made the little cards even easier!  An easy and fun project for summer!

I received my pre-order from the upcoming Holiday Catalog the other day and can’t wait to start playing!  So much fun stuff!  Those of you who are my customers should receive your copy of this little catalog (it’s so big we can’t call it a mini anymore!) by the end of July!  You can start ordering from it on August 1st.  Woo Hoo!

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

Happy Birthday Lori & Linda!

Today is the BIG day for my sisters.  They turn 50 whether they like it or not!  I had already sent them the black “50” card so I wanted something a little more fun for this card!  I needed a square card because I wanted to fit the CD of the their photo album in the card.  Here’s the fun and simple card that I came up with.

Yes, I know that the Real Red Satin Ribbon has retired and that you can’t purchase the Summer Smooches fabric brads but they were perfect for this card!  I used the Summer Smooches Designer Paper.  The flower was made from the Fun Flowers Die for the Big Shot.  It’s a bright, fun and simple card for a BIG birthday!  😀

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

50th Birthday Card

Today I’m taking my sisters out to lunch for their 50th birthdays (yes, they’re twins!).  They’re not looking forward to the big day but I’ve assured them that it’s relatively painless!

Last week I sent them a little care package to help them prepare for the big day along with this card.  I used Basic Black card stock, Brushed Silver card stock, Silver Glimmer Paper and Basic Rhinestone Jewels.

I’m making them photo albums with My Digital Studio but I haven’t printed them yet.  It’s probably good that I didn’t since my parents and I discovered a few errors while I showed it to them!  I’ll let my sisters check the albums out on CDs and make any changes they want before I do print them.  I’ll be sure to share some of my favorite pages with you in the near future.

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!
