Island Vibes. What a perfect name for a stamp set with a tropical feel. What says tropical better than a pineapple and palm fronds? The Island Vibes stamp set is one of Stampin’ Up!’s Level 1 Sale-a-bration items which means that you can choose it for free when spending $50 in my online store.
The two cards I’m sharing with you today are from another swap that I participated in with fellow demonstrators. Both of these cards were made using the Island Vibes stamp set. I have to admit that the stamp set didn’t do a whole lot for me when I first saw it in Stampin’ Up!’s Sale-a-bration brochure. Of course, now that I’ve seen these two lovely cards, as well as many samples online, I’m going to have to put it on my next order
What I love about these two cards is how similar, yet different they are. Both Katherine and Janet used the palm fronds in similar positions on their cards as well as using jewel embellishments to complete their card designs. Beyond those similarities their own styles take over. So fun!
