Sweet Laughter Mother’s Day Card

Sweet Laughter.2Hello on a very rainy Saturday.  Actually, it’s been quite rainy all week.  We may even get a little snow over night.  Yikes!

I was good this year and actually got my Mother’s Day cards sent out on time.  What a concept!  I’m usually at least a few days late with these things.  I can make cards, I just can’t seem to get them in the mail.  🙁

This card is made using the Sweet Laughter stamp set.  I sent this card to my MIL.  This is actually the same stamp set that I used on the card I made for my mom.  I had seen a card online where it looked liked the hearts were in the measuring cup.  I thought that was pretty cute so I had to figure out how to recreate it.  I stamped my measuring cup on vellum card stock and then I glued the little hearts from the Confetti Heart Border Punch on the back of the stamped image with a glue pen.  Perfection!  I love it when a plan comes together.

The Starburst Framelits that I used on this card won’t be in the new catalog coming June 2nd so if you like them now is the time to get them.  So many toys are going away but there are plenty of fun new things to take their place!  I went through my new catalog last night and tagged the pages that had samples that I might want to recreate….well, I have tags on almost every page.  I suppose I should have just marked the samples that I didn’t want to recreate!  Ha!

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!
