Iowa’s Highest Point

We left Colorado on Wednesday and arrived in Minneapolis this afternoon after spending the night in Sioux City, IA.  This scenic stop was shortly after we left Sioux City just before the MN border.  My husband just had to stop and show me!  😀  He’d been here before and wanted to share!  It’s pretty funny if you consider that we came from the Rocky Mountains!  😀

Have a great day!

Mailing List Sign Up vs. Feedburner

Hello!

Did you notice the two sign up boxes on the left-hand side of my blog?

The top sign up box is for my mailing list.  When you enter your information here you will receive e-mails from regarding Stampin’ Up! specials, information on my upcoming classes and all sorts of other exciting Stampin’ Up! and Stamp by Stamp Creations news!

The sign up box underneath that with the FeedBurner logo is a service that will notify you when I have made an update/post to my blog so you don’t actually have to come directly here to see if I’ve posted something new.  It’s a great way way to stay on top of things!

I hope these descriptions help!

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

Nice and Juicy!

Doesn’t this card make you think of a hot summer day?  Mmmm!  I can almost taste the watermelon!  It’s such a bright and fun card for summer and it’s PINK!  The watermelon image is from the “Mouthwatering” stamp set.  Love that fruit!  I colored the watermelon with markers, stamped the image and then stamped the image again over the first image with Versamark so that I can emboss it.  Yes!  I did use the Stamp-a-ma-jig for that!  I used Clear Embossing Powder on my card but now as I’m typing this I realized that should have used the  Melon Scented Embossing Powder!  How silly of me!  I’ll have to switch that for today’s classes!  The sentiment is from the “Fabulous Phrases”.  After stamping the word I used my Bitty Banner Framelits to die cut it.  Those little Framelists are SO cute!  I can’t wait to get the coordinating stamp set “Itty Bitty Banners”!  It’s hard to tell from the picture but I embossed the small piece of Basic Black card stock with my favorite Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.  I finished the card off with multiple layers and my favorite ribbon…Melon Mambo Scallop Dots Ribbon!

Have you signed up for my mailing list yet?  Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

I knew you’d want to see a card made with items from this fabulous catalog so here it is!  The stamp set is the new Betsy’s Blooms.  The colors on the card are Daffodil Delight and the new in-color Gumball Green.  The Gumball Green is such a bright and fun green.  I know you’re going to love it.  I also used the new Gumball Green 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon.  We’ll be making this card in classes this week.

Be sure to check out the new catalog and don’t forget to sign up for my new mailing list!  Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!
