Today’s card is one we’re making in this week’s classes. I CASEd it from my upline Tara but naturally, I had to switch it up a bit. (I just can’t help myself!) 😀
I love the simplicity of the card and the Twitterpated Designer Paper. You could make this card with almost any designer paper with a smaller design. Quite versatile. I hope you like it too!
Stamp Set: Reason to Smile, Day of Gratitude Card Stock: Primrose Petals, Whisper White Markers: Primrose Petals, Gumball Green Accessories: Primrose Petals Stitched Satin Ribbon, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Well, I think I’ve found my new favorite Stampin’ Up! color….Primrose Petals. It’s such a beautiful PINK! 🙂 I liked it when it first came out but I didn’t fall in love with it until I started using it. Now I can’t get enough of it! Don’t be surprised if you see a lot of it on my cards…..just saying!
This was a simple card to make, especially if you use the Stamp-a-ma-jig. If you don’t have this life-saving tool you may need to order one right away! I love it for Two-Step Stamping.
I sure am going to miss “A Reason to Smile”. I’m definitely hanging on to this one! Don’t forget that July 31st is the last day you can get this stamp set. It’s only $5 with a $50 order. Don’t miss out! Order yours today! Have a great day! Take care and Happy Stamping!
Stamp Set: For the Birds Card Stock: Pacific Point, Real Red, Whisper White Ink: Black StazOn, Pacific Point Markers: Real Red, Soft Suede, Daffodil Delight Accessories: Real Red Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, Basic Pearls, Stampin’ Dimensionals Tools: Big Shot, Fancy Fan Embossing Folder, Blender Pen, Decorative Label Punch
This adorable stamp set was one of the first stamp sets from the new catalog that I knew I just had to have! It’s so stinkin’ cute! I made this card for the new catalog swap that I hosted.
Most of the image is colored with markers but I used a Blender Pen and ink pad on the bird. Don’t you love the new Fancy Fan Embossing Folder? Too fun! I like the way my label turned out. Pretty clever, isn’t it? I punched out a label from Pacific Point card stock with the Decorative Label Punch. I then cut the label in half horizontally and attached the pieces to the ends of my Pacific Point card stock. A simple plan for a new look!
Take care! Have a great day and Happy Stamping!
P.S. I would love for you to leave a comment sometime. I get tons of comments but they’re all spam so it would be fun to get a legitimate one sometime! 😀
Last Saturday was my birthday and I got to celebrate it at the Stampin’ Up! convention in style thanks to my roomies Laura and Cheryl. They presented my with this lovely tiara and birthday sash. I also got glow-in-the dark necklace and earings. Weren’t they sweet?! I had Laura take this picutre of my on my phone so I could share it immediately with my fans on Facebook! Did you miss it last week on Facebook? You better make sure you’ve “Liked” my Stamp by Stamp Creations page there. If you need to do that just click on the Facebook link on the lower left side of this page.
Thank you again to all of you who sent me birthday wishes. Have a great day! Take care and Happy Stamping!
This video was my absolute favorite part of convention. Every year there is a theme song for convention and professionals perform the song during our opening session. This year when the lights dimmed and the music began we saw this video. It’s the staff at the home office lip-dubbing the song. An absolute treat! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did (and still do!). 😀

Well, I couldn’t decide which pictures from convention to share with you today so I figured I couldn’t go wrong with a card! That’s mostly why you keep coming back, isn’t it? 😀
This is one of the cards we’ll be making in our Stamp-a-Stack next week. I just love how soft and peaceful it looks, don’t you?
I really need to start cutting paper today. I have 24 people attending my three classes plus another 4 kits for people who can’t come….YIKES!
I”m still recovering from convention. Got up late again this morning. Yesterday I didn’t leave the house but today I do need to hit the grocery store and the post office. I guess I better get busy. Have a great day! Take care and Happy Stamping!
Wow! Another great time at convention! I’m exhausted but I’m already looking forward to next year! Next year will be Stampin’ Up!’s 25th Anniversary and they’re already planning big things. If you’re already a demonstrator you may want to mark your calendar for July 18-20 2013 so you can attend this fabulous event. If you’re not already a demonstrator you may want to consider joining my team of SASsy Stampers (Seriously Addicted to Stamping). We’d love to have you on our team. There 4 of us from my team at convention this year and two of us won Prize Patrol (door prizes)! How fun is that?
Cheryl was absolutely giddy about winning a Prize Patrol. In our convention bags we all receive a colored wrist band (there are quite a few different colors/designs). After a stamping demonstration on main stage the presentor will show the winning wristband on the screen and those lucky deomonstrators will receive some of the product that were demonstrated. It’s all very fun and exciting! Janet was pretty excited about winning too. Neither of these girls have been coming to convention for too long a time (unlike us old-timers!).
Our group hasn’t been too lucky with the Prize Patrol the past few years so having two of us win was pretty exciting!
Stay tuned this week for exciting convention news!
Oh, before I forget….Stampin’ Up! has a small regional event coming to Denver on Saturday Sept. 8th. Have you thought about becoming a demonstrator? This would be the perfect chance for you to check out what it’s like. The cost is only $75 for a whole day of fun. Let me know if you’re interested. Registration begins July 26th and it fills up FAST!
Janet
Have a great day and Happy Stamping! I need to do some laundry and unpack my bags with all of the stamp sets I brought home! 😀
P.S. I do need to apologize for this post….I had a lot of trouble figuring out how to put in two photos! Yikes! I hope you enjoy it anyway!
Woo Hoo! The time has come to head to Salt Lake City and the Stampin’ Up! Convention! Convention is an absolute blast and once again this year I get to celebrate my birthday there with all of my Stampin’ Sisters! 😀
This card is my swap card this year. I made 91 of the darn things! Yikes! They’re easy, fun and cute though. I like them so much that we’ll be making them at our Stamp-a-Stack class at the end of the month! 🙂
The leaf image is from “Just Believe” and the sentiment is from the new “Loving Thoughts”. I did use a few different types of designer paper and ribbon on the 91 cards.
I’m not sure if I’ll have a chance to post while I’m at convention. If not, tune back in next week on all of the fun updates from convention! Have a great day! Take care and Happy Stamping!
Today’s card is from the New Catalog Swap that I hosted. This card was designed by fellow demonstrator Tena Lynch. Tena used the adorable stamp set “Bootiful Occasions” (pg 50 in the catalog) This was one of those stamp sets I wasn’t sure of when I first saw it in the catalog but of course now that I’ve seen a ton of really cute cards using it I had to put it on my wish list! It happens every time!
Tena also used the fun new Polka Dot Parade Designer Paper. (item #126902 $10.95 on pg 164). One side of the paper is these large circles and the other side is small white polka dots. In the package you get two sheets of Daffodil Delight, Marina Mist, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red and RichRazzleberry. How fun! I can’t wait to play with it!
Have a great day! Take care and Happy Stamping!
P.S. Have you signed up to be on my e-mail list yet? Don’t miss out on any exciting news from Stamp by Stamp Creations! Sign up today!
Hello! This is the project that we made in this week’s classes. A little purse with four note cards. Once everyone figured out the scoring for the purse the class went pretty quick. Everyone had a different piece of designer paper from the Floral District DesignerPaper pack and different colored card stock and ribbon. It was fun to see the different final projects. We used the Note Cards & Envelopes from Stampin’ Up! (#107311 pg 160) which made the little cards even easier! An easy and fun project for summer!
I received my pre-order from the upcoming Holiday Catalog the other day and can’t wait to start playing! So much fun stuff! Those of you who are my customers should receive your copy of this little catalog (it’s so big we can’t call it a mini anymore!) by the end of July! You can start ordering from it on August 1st. Woo Hoo!
When I first saw this stamp set I knew I just had to have it. My mom grows Dahlias and my grandpa used to also. If I had a garden and a green thumb I’d be growing them too. I think I’ve mentioned that before and the fact that my grandpa used to enter his flowers in competition at the state fair.
This is the card I made for Monday night’s Shoebox Swap. It’s pretty simple but very pretty I think. I used the new In-Colors Raspberry Ripple and Midnight Muse on the card. On the small piece of Raspeberry Ripple at the bottom of the card you can see the Fancy Fold Embossing Folder design a little better than the card on my last post.
Hello! I know I’ve been slacking on my posts but I’ve been getting ready for convention! 😀 Lot’s to do! My swaps are all done, my team gifts are done and my little gifts for some of my Stampin’ Sisters are done too. Whew! Oh, I also had to make a gift/project for a team event I’m attending at convention too! But they’re done! Woo Hoo!
Tonight I’m attending a team Shoebox Swap at my upline Tara’s home. I love these events because you get to hang out and make cards! What else would you want to do on a Monday evening? Today’s card is one that we actually made at our last Shoebox Swap in May. It was designed by my upline Tara and she used the new stamp set “World Treasures”, the new designer paper “International Bazaar” and the new Midnight Muse 3/8″ Striped SatinRibbon. That’s a lot of new stuff for one card. Oh, I almost forgot because it’s so hard to see in the picture….the Whisper White background is embossed with the new “Fancy Fan” embossing folder. It’s a shame you can’t see it in the picture because it really makes a pretty background.
Well, it’s time to clean the house for classes this week…(not so much fun!). Then off to the shoebox swap with my buddy Laura. Have a great day! Take care and Happy Stamping!
Hello! I hope you all had a Happy 4th of July. Our day was pretty mellow and low-key. In fact, it was a pretty average day. I did a little of this, a little of that and a whole lot of nothing! It was actually rather nice.
Today’s card is one we made in our June class. I used the new Bright Blossoms stamp set and the fun Summer Smooches Designer Paper on it. I found this idea on Pinterest. Have you been on that sight? It’s quite addictive! It’s a simple card but fun to make. I first adhered the designer paper to the Whisper White card stock and added the ribbon. Then I adhered this piece to the front of the card BEFORE punching the circle. After adhering another piece of Whisper White card stock to the inside of the card I closed the card and lightly traced the circle onto the inside piece. This told me where to stamp my image. What you can’t see on the inside (yes, I should have taken a picture of that too…) is the vase I stamped under the flowers. I like the color yellow but I’ve never used it a lot on my cards….until now. I’m using it quite a bit lately. It’s a great color for summer!
I have all of my swaps done for convention and the countdown has begun! Then first day of convention is actually two weeks from today! I can’t wait! It’s always so much fun. There’s so much excitement and I always learn so much. Of course I always come home with a mile long list of things I just have to have! Oh, well…..
Happy July! Another hot one here in Colorado! Thank goodness for air conditioning! I sure feel sorry for those of you on the east coast.
It’s July and there’s plenty of reasons to smile! The first reason is the adorable floral stamp set I used on this card. It’s called…..”A Reason to Smile”! The best thing about this cute stamp set is that you can purchase it for only $5 with a $50 order! Wow! When was the last time you purchased a whole stamp set for only $5?
Another reason to smile is that during July with a $450+ workshop you can earn an additional $50 in Hostess Benefits. Whew! Stampin’ Up! is pulling out all of the stops this month. You can get more information on these July Specials on my Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Website.
One more reason to smile this month is that it’s my birthday! Woo Hoo! The best thing about my birthday this year is that I get to spend it at convention with all my demo friends! What more can a girl ask for? I’m excited about my birthday and you can be too. Send me a birthday card (hand-stamped of course!) this month and receive 10% off your next Stampin’ Up! order.
Don’t forget….you have lot’s of reasons to smile this month!
