Oh, Hello Flower Trim

Oh, Hello.0413Oh, Hello!  My blog is back in business.  I haven’t been able to post recently because my blog has been down.  I couldn’t log into it to update but all is well now.   I saw this card on Pinterest a while ago and have been wanting to CASE (copy and steal everything) it for some time.  I finally made it and now we’re making it in classes this week.

My two favorite parts of this card are the Delicate Details Lace Tape and the 5/8″ Flower Trim.  I love the fact that you can color the Flower Trim.  You can either highlight the edges with your marker like I did on this card or you can actually dye the flowers in a mixture of water and re-inker.  How fun is that? 😀  The doily really adds a lot to the card too.  So many fun embellishments and they’re all from the Spring Catalog!

Yesterday I registered for the Stampin’ Up! Convention to be held in July!  Woo Hoo!  I can’t wait!  It should be a lot of fun because this year is their 25th Anniversary.  Did I say Woo Hoo yet?  Convention is one the great parts of being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.  Did you know that now until May 30th you can receive an extra $30 of product in your Starter Kit if you sign up to be a demonstrator.  What a deal!  $150 worth of product for only $99!  Wow!  Let me know if you’d like more information on this GREAT opportunity!

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

Wishes Your Way Pinwheel

Pinwheel.0413Aren’t pinwheels fun?  Here’s a fun one made with the adorable Sunshine and Sprinkles Designer Paper and to set it all off is the really cute Melon Mambo 3/8″ Striped Organdy Ribbon!  How could I go wrong with this card when I was using my favorite color?  MELON MAMBO!!  I’m SO glad that this color is sticking around when the Stampin’ Up! colors get refreshed!  I can’t wait to try it with the new Smokey Slate or reacquaint it with Bermuda Bay.  Those two colors work so well together.

This card just shouts SPRING and we definitely need that!  We could get 6″-12″ of SNOW tonight and tomorrow.  🙁  The worse part about it is that hubby is out of town and I’ll have to shovel it all myself!   I’ll let you know if that really happens though.  They haven’t predicted the last few storms accurately so we’ll see about this one!  Have a warm and dry day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

More Circle Fun!

001 (2)We’re down to the wire….”What Can You Do With A Circle?” month is almost over.  Have you enjoyed it?  I sure hope so!  It’s been fun putting it all together for you.

I CASEd this card from my upline Tara.  She’s the BEST!  Always willing to help you out.  Isn’t this a fun card?  I used the Delicate Details Lace Tape from the Spring Catalog.  I punched out 1/2″ circles (see, I used circles!) and stuck them to the back side of the lace tape which is sticky on the back.  When I adhered the tape to the card I did use a little bit of adhesive on the back of each colored circle.

Another simple and fun card!  Why don’t you give it a try?  Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

Best of Birthdays!

Best of Birthdays.0213It’s a big birthday day.  I know at least 3 people celebrating today and my baby’s birthday (age 20 now) was yesterday!  I felt we were in need of a birthday card for today’s post.

I used the new image from the “Best of Birthdays” stamp set.  It’s a fun image.  Have you used it yet?  How about the doilies from the Spring Catalog?  Have you tried them?  I’ve been working with them a little bit.  They’re not quite my style but it’s fun trying to incorporate them into a card or project.  Did you notice that the doily is actually a circle? 🙂

Well, hopefully our little blizzard will let up soon.  I need to go pick up a pie for birthday celebrations.  My son’s birthday was yesterday, his girlfriend’s birthday was last Saturday and my other son’s fiance’s birthday is this coming Tuesday!   We have plans to go out to dinner tonight so we’re hoping the weather will cooperate.

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

I want you to know that I didn’t actually use the Hearts A Flutter stamp set on this card (although I could have)!  I just used the wonderful coordinating Hearts A Flutter Framelits for the banners!  No Hearts A Flutter stamps on this card! I do have hearts though.  They’re from the fun new set “Itty Bitties”.  Have you checked it out on page 25 of the Spring Catalog?  You get 56 images in this stamp set!  These adorable little images (which you have a hard time seeing on my card) fit perfectly in the gorgeous new Designer Builder Brads!  I LOVE these designer brads!  (OK….I know what you’re thinking….I LOVE everything!…but that’s why I’m a demonstrator….I can “justify” getting everything that I LOVE! :D)

Back to the Itty Bitties Stamp Set….after you stamp the cute little images just punch them out with the circle punch from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack….it’s the perfect size to fit in the center of the Designer Builder Brads.  Did you notice the other new items used on this card (no, I did not design it…it’s CASEd!)?  They are the Bitty Butterfly Punch (too cute!) and the Pool Party and Primrose Petals Core-dinations card stock.

There’s certainly a lot of fun and exciting products in the new Spring Catalog.  What’s your favorite?

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Turkey Day!  I’m excited about a day filled with family, friends and football!  Ooo…that reminds me that I need to check my Fantasy Football Team before the games start!  😉  Anyway…back to giving thanks!  I am so thankful for…everthing!  I am truely blessed and for this I give thanks.

Isn’t this little turkey adorable?  We’re back to that darn owl punch!  Oh, the things you can do with it!  The turkey feathers are made with the paper daisies.  I used two colors of ink on each daisy for a little dimension. TSC!  Too Stinkin’ Cute!

Well, it’s off to have a little breakfast and start making the stuffing.  I already have everything chopped up so it shouldn’t take too long.  Of course, then I have to start thinking about peeling 10-15 pounds of potatoes! Yikes!   Have a wonderful holiday wherever you are and whatever you’re doing.  My company doesn’t come until 3 pm so if I have a chance I’ll come back and show you the cute treat holders I made for everyone and my candle holders.

Take care and have a safe, happy and wonderful Thanksgiving!

Hello!  Thanksgiving is coming up FAST!  I need to get decorations up so I can enjoy them for awhile.  Today’s card is an adorable card for Thanksgiving.  You gotta love that darn owl punch!  It’s so versatile!  🙂

I used a Stampin’ Sponge to sponge two different colored inks on each daisy.  I used Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie on the small daisy and Pumpkin Pie and Riding Hood Red on the large daisy.  So easy!  The little turkey beak is the heart fromthe same punch!  TSC…too stinkin’ cute!

Only one more card to cut for next week’s Stamp-a-Stack.  Now I need to start planning my class for the week after Thanksgiving.  I would really like to be ahead of the game.  It’s a great aspiration….let’s see if I can get it done!

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!
