Hello! Today’s project is one we made at my Spring Fling back in the beginning of May. I was reminded that I hadn’t posted it while making four of them in the past couple of days! We’re heading back to the MN Homeland in a couple of days and I made some for my mom and sisters.
They’re really quite easy to make. The card case itself is made from one of Stampin’ Up!’s Clear Mount Stamp Cases. All I did was cut a piece of designer paper 10 5/8″ x 7″ and slip it between the plastic protector and the case! Then just decorate away! I’m sorry to say though if you like the center of my flower that the Designer Brads from the spring Occasions Catalog aren’t available any more but you could easily substitute something else.
The cards were pretty easy to make also. What you can’t see in the picture is that I scored the card front lengthwise twice (at 1 1/2″ and 3″)and adhered the card stock strip between the scored lines. It really added a nice touch to the simple card.
The envelope was easy also when I used the diagonal plate for my Simply Scored. I’ll show you how I made that in a future video.
Have a great day! Take care and happy Stamping!
