Think Spring for Day 30 of my 40 Cards in 40 Days. I designed this card for my April Card Buffet Class using the Sketched Butterflies Bundle. I choose Lemon Lolly and Pool Party for a Springtime feel. The Pool Party background was embossed with the Plaster Painting 3D Embossing Folder to add some texture to the card. The stamped and die-cut butterfly is highlighted with one of the detailed circles from the Spotlight on Nature Dies.
I added ribbon and one of my fake bows to complete the card, but now as I am looking at it, the card really could have used some Lemon Lolly embellishments to take it up a notch. I guess I will have to check my stash and see if I have any.

Woah! I’m really loving the template/theme of this site. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s hard to get that “perfect balance” between usability and visual appearance. I must say that you’ve done a superb job with this. Additionally, the blog loads extremely fast for me on Chrome. Superb Blog!
