Sprinkles of Life Silver Lining

Sprinkles of Life.0616How often have you heard the saying “Every cloud has a silver lining”?  I’m sure it’s a lot.  The fun Sprinkles of Life stamp set takes it one step further.

Did you know that Sprinkles of Life was last year’s Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) stamp set for Stampin’ Up!?  That meant that for every one of these stamp sets they sold Stampin’ Up! donated $3 to RMHC!

I’m going to go out on a limb and say that this stamp set is one of the best RMHC stamp sets they’ve had…oh, except for my absolute favorite, Flamingo Lingo, since that had a flamingo in it! Ha!  Sprinkles of Life is so versatile and there are so many pieces….best of all there is a COORDINATING punch!  Woo Hoo!  Coordination!

It’s hard to tell from the picture but my clouds really do have a silver lining.  I punched out silver foil clouds and off-set them behind the white clouds.  Unfortunately they just look like shadows in the picture.  The layer between the blue card and the white stamped layer is also silver foil.  I guess I need to work on my photography skills.

So today I’m heading to the top of Pike’s Peak with my company.  Maybe I’ll share some pictures with you tomorrow.  🙂

Have a great day.  Take care and Happy Stamping!

Summery Sprinkles of Life

Sprinkles of Life.0615Do you have the Sprinkles of Life stamp set yet?  If not, you  really should!  Its a great, versatile stamp set AND there’s a COORDINATING punch!  How great is that?  I know I mentioned before that this stamp set is this year’s Ronald McDonald Charities stamp set.  This stamp set is probably one of my all time favorites.  Last year’s Flamingo Lingo set is definitely at the top of the list though since I have this thing for flamingos.  🙂

I CASEd this card from my friend Laura and then of course had to change it.   I can’t just copy something exactly.  That would be way too easy!  Ha!

The focal point is straight from Laura’s card but I changed up the rest of the colors and the sentiment.

With the coordinating Tree Builder Punch I was able to punch out both the bunch of leaves in the basket and all of the little flowers.  I stamped my flowers in Real Red and then used my Blender Pen to color them in.  The teeny tiny pearls for the centers of the flowers really make them pop.

I need to get to work on setting up my retired products sale.  I’m having it a few days after convention so I want to get as much done as I can before I go.

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

Sprinkles of Life Ice Cream Cone

Sprinkles of Life.1Hello!  You’ve probably seen a lot of these ice cream cones floating around in the last month.  The Sprinkles of Life stamp set was one of the sets we demonstrators could order early back in May.  It’s absolutely adorable!  You can see the entire set here.  It’s so versatile with lots of different images and sayings but best of all it’s the Ronald McDonald House stamp set this year!

What’s the Ronald McDonald House stamp set you ask?  Well, every year Stampin’ Up! designs a special set.  For each of these special stamp sets sold Stampin’ Up! donates $3 to Ronald McDonald House Charities!  How great is that?!

What do you see on this card that’s new besides the stamp set?  If you see a couple of the new In-Colors you’d be correct.  The card itself and the chocolate ice cream are made using the new Tip Top Taupe color and the green ice cream in the middle is the new Mint Macaron.   Blushing Bride has never been one of my favorite colors but it goes so perfectly with these two new colors.  I’m thinking that I’ll be using it a lot more in the next two years!  🙂

What do you think of the new In-Colors?  What?  You haven’t seen them all yet?  You better check them out here then!  Now you’re telling me that you don’t have an actual catalog in your little hands yet?  Well, email me your name and address (U.S. customers only) at cindy@stampbystampcreations.com and I’ll pop a catalog in the mail for you.  The catalog is WONDERFUL and I don’t want you to miss out!

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!
