Endless Birthday Wishes – #imbringingbirthdaysback

IMG_7666Everyone has a birthday at some point during the year so everyone should get a birthday cards, right?  In this post I told you about what’s going on in the world of Stampin’ Up! and Stampin’ Up! demonstrators.  We’re bringing birthdays back!  It’s fun to see how many people can wish you a happy birthday on social media and in text messages as well as emails but it’s even better to receive a card in the mail….especially a hand-made card!

I’ve joined the movement and I’m trying to stay on top of sending out birthday cards!  I’d love to  send YOU a card on your birthday.  Just email me your name, birthdate and mailing address to cindy@stampbystampcreations.com.  I’ll put you on my list.

It was Stamp-a-Stack classes this week.  In this type of class we make 15 EASY cards.  3 each of 5 different designs.  This was one of the cards we made.  I got the idea for it straight from Stampin’ Up!.  I’m pretty sure I didn’t change a thing!  I know…a shocker!

IMG_7664We used the 2014-2016 In-Colors on this card.  Each person got three different colors of card stock and they could use any color combination that they wanted.   I think most people used the same combinations that I had in my samples.

I love the Washi Tape on the card.  I really need to use more Washi Tape on my cards.  It’s so fun!

Don’t forget to send my your birthdate so I can send you a birthday card!  Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

Endless Birthday Wishes

Endless Birthday WishesI was SO excited to see that the Endless Birthday Wishes was in the new catalog.  It’s one of the photopolymer stamp sets that Stampin’ Up! came out while they were testing whether people like this type of stamp.  I LOVE photopolymer.  I love being able to see through the stamp for perfect alignment.  My favorite stamps are still wood mount ones though.  I like being able to just grab the stamp out of the box and stamp my image without having to find the right size block and putting my stamp on it.

Right now I really like this 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ size card.  They’re kinda of cute and they’re a little different.  Can you spot the new products I used on this card?  The stamp set isn’t actually new but it’s new to a catalog.  The fun designer paper is the Cherry On Top Designer Series Paper Stack.  This paper stack has all sorts of fun images in it.  Have you checked out the new catalog yet?  Stampin’ Up! came out with a brilliant idea.  For all the designer series paper packages they’ve come out with a package of coordinating card stock.  You get 8 sheets of 3 different colors that go with your designer paper!  How great is that?!

The other new products on this page are the products in Watermelon Wonder.  This is one of the new In-Colors.  It’s definitely my favorite new In-Color and it’s right up there with one of my favorite colors.  I used the Watermelon Wonder card stock and marker on this card.  Have you seen the new Lace Trim in the new In-Colors?  Gorgeous!

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

Endless Birthday Wishes and Blendabilities

012This new Endless Birthday Wishes photopolymer stamp set is TSC!  It’s Too Stinkin’ Cute!  You can check out all of the images in the stamp set here.   Adorable!  Order it while you can though….it’s only available while supplies last!

I stamped the cake and sentiments (they’re separate stamps) with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.  This is the ink you need to use with the Blendabilites Markers.  I used the Daffodil Delight Assortment, the Pumpkin Pie Assortment and the Coastal Cabana Assortment of the Blendabilities Markers.  The ribbon I used is the new Tangelo Twist 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon.  Gorgeous!

This is a fun and easy card.  We made it at my Catalog Premier Open House yesterday.  Everyone loved playing with the Blendabilites.  As I mentioned in my previous post about the Blendabilities Markers, they won’t be available for purchase until August or September due to production/manufacturing problems.  🙁  I’ll definitely keep you posted though!

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!
