OK….I know it’s suppose to be Simple Saturday but I had already posted for yesterday when I realized that this card would have been perfect. Therefore…..Simple Sunday!
What can be more simple than stamping the same image four times in a row? Yep, that’s how I got this fun ombre look for the card. Don’t you love it? A simple technique! I added a few layers, popped up the little punched heart and added the sentiment. All from the same fabulous stamp set Work of Art. This is one of those stamp sets that had I just seen it in the catalog I would probably have passed it by. Since I received it at the Catalog Premiere Event that I went to in April I figured I had better play with it. Too fun! I’ve made a lot of fun things with this stamp set and am glad I have it. You will probably need it too! 😉
The great thing about a simple card like this is that you can do it in ANY color. I made this card for my New Catalog Open House and showed it in all of the new colors. I do have to let you know that the little heart punch that I used on the card is retired but Stampin’ Up! came out with a new little heart punch in the Little Bitty Accents Punch Pack.
