World Card Making Day & the Holiday Catalog

10.01.18_SHAREABLE_WCMD_NAHave you heard that it’s World Card Making Day on Saturday?  It is, and Stampin’ Up! is celebrating all week!  With a sale!  Woo Hoo!  A sale!

From the title of this post you may think that the items included in the sale are from the Holiday Catalog, but they’re not.  However….the products included in the sale will definitely help you make your projects using products from the Holiday Catalog.  There are card kits, stamp sets, 12″ x 12″ cardstock, note cards & envelopes and adhesive!  To see all of these sale items just click here or go to the link you find at the top of this page.

This week we’ve been talking about the Toil & Trouble Suite from the Holiday Catalog and all things Halloween.  Watch this fun, short video featuring products from the Holiday Catalog.  Be sure to watch until the end so you can see the Toil & Trouble Suite!

Yesterday I talked about my favorite product from this suite, the Black 3/8″ Glittered Organdy Ribbon (147897 $8.50) and how versatile it is.  I’m excited to try it out on a birthday or some kind of celebration card.

Takeout Thinlits.2Another versatile product from this suite is the Takeout Treats Bundle (W-#149989 $56.50 C-#149990 $49.50).  It’s perfect for Halloween and Halloween treats but if you take a look at the bundle you see that it already includes Takeout1stamps and framelits for other holidays as well as general uses.  I’m excited to give this bundle a try.  In fact I just ordered it yesterday!  Do you have it on your wish list or order yet?

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

Color Your Season

07.01.18_SHAREABLE2_COLOR_YOUR_SEASON_USWho doesn’t LOVE versatile products?!  That’s what Stampin’ Up! has come out with for the month of August.  There is a stamp set, coordinating framelits and a new package of watercolor pencils!  These three products are only available during the month of July while supplies last.

The stamp set is SO versatile!  You can make Christmas projects with it, fall projects, summer projects and spring projects!  Not only are all four seasons covered but there are sentiments for many different occasions too!  And that’s just the stamp set!

Stitched Seasons Framelits.0818The framelits are fabulous!  Not only will they cut out some of the stamped images but there are 3 different sizes of double-stitched labels!  These are definitely my favorite part of the whole bundle.  Not only does the shape you die cut have the stitching around it but so does the area you cut out!

Here is a quick video highlighting these fabulous products.  Remember….they are only available through August 31st or while supplies last, whichever comes first!  Don’t miss out!  Order yours TODAY!

Oh….and don’t forget that you can earn BONUS DAY COUPONS with your order!

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

They’re FREE!

Have you checked out Stampin’ Up!’s new ink pads yet?  They are wonderful!  Here are some of the ways they’ve been improved:

  1.  Easier to open.  You now just flip up the lid (like opening a compact) and slide it back over the base.  Easy peasy.
  2. The lids have a much tighter fit.  This means the lids won’t pop off as easily as before.  They’re a little harder to open at first but they’ll loosen a bit as you use them.
  3. The ink pads are stackable.  The bottoms of the ink pads have tiny little knobs in the corners and the tops have little indentations to make them stackable.
  4. The ink pads are slightly smaller in size.
  5. The ink has a defoamer in it so that you will get a cleaner, crisper stamped image.

07.01.2018_SHAREABLE2_INK_PAD_USNow that I’ve shared with you how wonderful these new ink pads are let me share with you some exciting news!  You can get a FREE color family of 10 new ink pads when you sign up to be a demonstrator during the month of July!  That’s right!  Not only will you get to choose $125 of merchandise for only $99 with your starter kit but you will also get to choose a color family of ink pads that you will get for free also!  Now that is a great deal!  Oh….before I forget to tell you….the shipping is FREE on your Starter Kit!  Woo Hoo!

All About Color!

color-revamp_demo_header_uscaThe new 2018-2019 Annual Catalog is all about color.  Not only do we have some fabulous new and bright In-Colors this year but the 4 Color Families have gone through a complete revamp!  Woo Hoo!  New colors!  New color combinations!  This is great!

Sometimes it’s sad to see things retire and go away but I have to admit that of the 13 core colors that are retiring I’m not going to really miss any of them.  I’m really excited about the new colors, especially some of the old In-Colors that are now core colors.  Coastal Cabana!  Blackberry Bliss and Mossy Meadow!  Woo Hoo!

I know that you’re going to love the color revamp and all of these new colors.  But where do you begin?

Below you can see a picture of the new and re-organized color families.  The colors with “pins” in them are all of the new colors including the returning, retired In-Colors.  Did you notice that the Neutrals Family now includes some colors other than black, gray, brown, white and vanilla?  Stampin’ Up! has moved Black, White and Vanilla into their own little group called Basics.

What do you think?  Aren’t these new colors fabulous?  Which one is going to be your new favorite?  I’m going to have to play with them a bit before a make a final decision….

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

Last Chance Products!

Last Chance 218It’s that time of the year.  It’s time to say goodbye to old products to make room for the new ones.  Are you ready?  I know that I am!  I always get excited this time of the year.  🙂

You can click here to see everything that’s going away.  If you’d like a PDF or Excel file of the items please contact me at cindy@stampbystampcreations.com.

RoseGarden.0116There are some products that I’m sad to see go.  Rose Wonder and it’s coordinating framelits are leaving.  I didn’t use the rose itself much but I loved the fonts in that stamp set.

After you check out the list let me know what items you’re sad to see go.

As I mentioned yesterday I am pretty darn excited about the new catalog and especially the new colors.  I can’t wait to start using them.  Speaking of the 18-19Annualcatalognew catalog…I don’t think I showed you a picture of the cover yesterday.    What do you think?  Isn’t it fun?!  Don’t forget to let me know if you’d like a copy of the new catalog when it comes out.  I’d be happy to get one to you whether you live near or far.

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

Exciting Stampin’ Up! News!!!

I spent last weekend in Las Vegas, NV for Stampin’ Up!’s On Stage event.  As usual, I had a grand time with my friends, met new friends, learned things and most importantly saw a new catalog.  The new catalog I saw was the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog.  All I can saw is WOW!  Ok…maybe I’ll add AMAZING to that.  The catalog is gorgeous and full of fun and exciting projects.

share what you love1One of the fabulous things I saw in the new catalog and learned at the event is that Stampin’ Up! is going to have a Color Revamp in the new catalog.  Woo Hoo!  I’ve been waiting for this!  Some of the current colors are a little dull and drab and needed to go.  I am SO excited about the new colors.  Actually there are 8 brand new colors we’ve never had before and 6 returning past In-Colors.  As you can see from the card above, Mint Macaron is one of the returning In-Colors.  The peachy color is one of the new 2018-2020 In-Colors, Grapefruit Grove.

Stampin’ Up! will also be changing the ink pads and the ink formulas to make it easier to open the ink pads and give us better stamped images.  Usually I don’t really like too much change but in this case I can’t wait!

In the new catalog you will also find tons of new Stampin’ Blends colors, new stamp sets, ribbons, embellishments and gorgeous papers.

Speaking of gorgeous papers, did you notice the designer paper in the card sample above?  That is from the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.  Many of the designer papers in the new catalog are bold and colorful like the patterns you see above.

Are you ready for the new catalog?  I know I am!  If you’d like a free copy of the catalog when they become available leave a comment below or send me an email at cindy@stampbystampcreations.com.

Take care and Happy Stamping!

What I LOVE about being a demonstrator:

  • NEW FRIENDS!  I love meeting new people whether they are fellow demonstrators or new customers.  These people I’ve met through Stampin’ Up! have become some of my best friends.
  • NEW PRODUCTS!  I love being one of the first to see new products and new catalogs.  It’s kind of like Christmas when a new catalog comes out.
  • TRAVEL!  I love to travel with Stampin’ Up!.  Going to events with my fellow demonstrators or traveling to Thailand with my husband on a Stampin’ Up! trip.  It’s so much fun!  Right now I’m working on earning the Greek Isles Trip since my 60th birthday falls during it!  🙂

Another Trip Finished

20170928_184609 (2)We just returned from another trip to the family cabin in Canada.  Son #1 and his wife hadn’t been there yet this year and this past week was the only time we could fit it in before the weather got too cold.  It was a great week as the leaf colors really came out while we were there.  We had a couple nice days and caught enough fish for a good meal but most of the days were cool and rainy.  More time for games, puzzles and books though.  🙂

IMG959312001 (2)I did catch a really nice walleye while we were fishing.  This one was too big to keep but it sure was fun to catch!  In Canada, you can only keep walleye that are “in the slot”.  You don’t want to keep fish that are too small and the big ones like I caught here are usually female so you want to leave them to lay their eggs so you can catch even more fish!  🙂

20170929_185936 (2)My husband did have a little mishap with a ladder while we were at the cabin so we had to make an emergency run back across the border for some stitches.  Luckily it wasn’t anything too serious.  This sunset picture is from our trip back across the lake when we returned.

20171002_191826 (2)We love it up there.  The only downside is that it’s a bit far from Colorado.  The cabin is just north of International Falls, MN.  It’s a long 2 day drive to go directly from the cabin to Denver.  A lot of the time we stop in Minneapolis/St. Paul to visit family which breaks up the trip nicely.

On the way back to Colorado this trip we stopped at Mount Rushmore in South Dakota.  My daughter-in-law had never been 20171005_101923 (2)there.  It’s definitely something everyone should see sometime in their life if possible.  We toured the little museum there and found out some interesting facts about the construction of the monument.

Well, now I’m home for about a month before I head out to Salt IMG959535 (2)Lake City for Stampin’ Up!’s OnStage event.  I’m really looking forward to that as I’ll get to hang out with my friends and meet up with my new friends that I met in Thailand.  Until then it’s back to work and sharing my love of stamping with you.  Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!
