Have you tried Stampin’ Up!’s Watercolor Pencils? You should! They’re fun and easy to work with and THEY’RE ON BACKORDER already! Oh, no!
Stampin’ Up! isn’t sure when they’ll be back in stock so you will be unable to order this fabulous product after Thursday 1/26. If you want to make sure that you will get this product when they are back in stock place your order before Thursday. Once they are back in stock I’m sure they’ll go quickly.
You can order your Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Pencils here! Order them today!
Now you’re wondering WHY you should order them and HOW to use them. Back on January 2nd I posted a Stampin’ Up! video on the Watercolor Pencils and how to use them. Here it is again. If you think you’d like to give them a try be sure to place your order before Thursday so that you can get them when they are back in stock.
The 2017 Occasions Catalog and the 2017 Sale-a-bration Brochure are here! Woo Hoo! New products! I LOVE new products! Have you checked them out? Click on the link to the right and see what they’re all about!
If you’re on top of things and were trying to place an order this morning you may have had a small problem. ALL of Stampin’ Up!’s systems were down. Computer, phones, you name it. The only way they could let us demonstrators know about it was through social media. Yikes!
All is well now though so go ahead a place those orders!
As I’ve mentioned before, my favorite Sale-a-bration item is the Hey, Chick stamp set. It’s TSC! Too Stinkin’ Cute! You can find it on page 17 of the Sale-a-bration Brochure. This is a card I’ve previously posted and I can assure you that there will be more!
If you’ve already had a peek at the brochure have you picked out your favorite item? I’d love to hear what your favorite its. Leave a comment!
One of my favorite new items in the Occasions Catalog is the Nailed It stamp set and the COORDINATING Build It Framelits. There are never enough products perfect the males in our lives. Stay tuned for an adorable gift card holder that I made for Christmas with these products.
Do you have a favorite item in the Occasions Catalog? Or maybe a favorite product suite? Let me know!
The important questions is “Have you started your wish lists yet?”. If not, get started! 🙂
Well, it’s the last day of 2016. Are you sad to see it go or are you more than ready for the New Year? I know that some people are more than ready for the new year. They’ve had enough of 2016 and all it entailed.
Overall 2016 was pretty good to me. I did lose a close friend to cancer but my family and I are all healthy and doing well. I still love being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator and all it entails. Best of all, I earned Stampin’ Up!’s Incentive Trip to Phuket Thailand next summer. Woo Hoo! Of course I couldn’t have done that without all of you so THANK YOU!
I’m hoping 2017 will be another good year both for my family and friends and for my business as well as for all of you.
Time may be running out for 2016 but there’s still a few more days to take advantage of Stampin’ Up’s Year-end Closeout deals. There’s also only a few days left of the Holiday Catalog. Look for the fabulous new Occasions Catalog on January 4th.
Have a great day! Celebrate the end of 2016 safely and I’ll see you in the new year! Take care and Happy Stamping!
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend! Our Christmas was good. Too much food, more than enough gifts and great fellowship with family and friends! This is a goofy picture of my boys and I. The second picture is my baby kitty Tasha by the tree. She really enjoyed her little catnip toys. 🙂
Did Santa bring you everything on your list? It was a practical gift year for me. Lots of things for the kitchen that needed replacing. 🙂
Now it’s time to start thinking about cleaning up from Christmas and packing for our trip to the MN Homeland to see family.
I should probably also start thinking about getting ready for the new Occasions Catalog and SALE-A-BRATION!! Woo Hoo! I really wish I could have carved out more time to play with some of the new products from the publications. Oh, well. I’ll just have to do it when I return from the frigid Homeland. Lucky for us it doesn’t look like the temperatures will be too low while we’re in town.
Are you ready for the new Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-bration? Have you started making those wish lists? You better get those lists made! It all begins next week!
What a fun day yesterday! I learned how to make lefse! For those of you who are not Scandinavian lefse is like a potato tortilla. You spread butter on it and roll it up to eat. Yum! You can also sprinkle cinnamon sugar on it.
I’m pretty sure that I don’t have a drop of Scandinavian blood in me but growing up in Minnesota with all of those Scandinavian Lutherans I got to eat it and I love it!
Last year my friend Sallie brought me a few pieces after she made it with some gals from our church and this year she invited me to join her! I was so excited!
Sallie is the fourth person from the left with the light colored hair. She takes good care of me. This morning she brought me a tin of Christmas cookies knowing that I haven’t begun my holiday baking yet! Hey! I have almost a week, right?! 🙂
Have a yummy day! Take care and Happy Stamping (and holiday baking!)!

It’s Black Friday. Are you shopping? I refuse to set foot out of my house on Black Friday. Shopping with gazillions of people just doesn’t sound like fun to me. Of course I have no idea what to get anyone for Christmas yet so there’s no reason to go shopping.
Now, online shopping is a whole different story. I can sit at my computer in my comfy clothes and shop away all day! Speaking of….have you taken advantage of Stampin’ Up!’s Online Extravaganza? There are some really sweet deals that you won’t want to miss! The sale only goes through Monday so don’t miss out!
Don’t forget about Stitched From the Heart promotion going on too! Stampin’ Up! has about 9 fabulous stamp sets on sale that coordinate perfectly with the new Stitched Shapes Framelits. Now…you need to know that the framelits themselves were so popular that Stampin’ Up! ran out of them. You can’t currently purchase the framelits but there are still a few days left to purchase the stamp sets that are on sale.
Get shopping! Have a relaxing day and don’t miss out on these fabulous promotions! Take care and Happy Stamping!

I will draw the hostess name by 8 pm on the 27th and will need to close out the workshop by 8 pm on the 28th. That means that if your name is drawn as hostess you will need to get me the list of items you’d like by 8 pm on the 28th. Start that wish list! If your order is $150 or more you do not want to use the Hostess Code as you can be your own hostess and earn the rewards. Contact me with any questions you may have.
Have fun shopping! Don’t miss out on those 24-hour sales (the 21st and the 28th) or on those items that are available while supplies last. Take care and Happy Stamping!
It was a busy and fun weekend. Lots of visiting and site-seeing. My cousin flew in this weekend to visit her daughter who lives here in Denver. One of my sisters thought that sounded fun so she and her daughter flew in to visit me and we all hung out together.
I picked up my sister Lori and her daughter Allison from the airport late Friday afternoon. We had a nice dinner before heading to a place called Upstairs Circus. Have you ever been to those painting places where you paint the project and drink wine? This is a similar concept except they have all sorts of craft projects you can make instead of just the painting. It was really fun. My sister made a beaded bracelet and my niece and I did string art projects where you hammer nails into a board in a pattern and then thread string around the nails to fill in the pattern. (I’ll post a picture of my project tomorrow.) I’d definitely go back again. 🙂
Saturday was a busy day. We started at the Denver Botanic Gardens. I’m going to admit that the middle of November isn’t exactly the best time to visit a garden but it’s been so warm there were still some flowers blooming. It was a free day there and there was a craft fair going on so we did enjoy ourselves. In the picture, starting at the left you have my sister Lori, myself, my cousin’s daughter Julie, my cousin Sally and my niece Allison.
After the gardens and craft fair we had a nice little lunch and then headed to the Denver Art Museum. We had tickets to see the exhibit “Star Wars and the Power of Costume”. The exhibit was fabulous….especially for those of us who love Star Wars and SciFi. You used headphones while taking the tour so not only did you see the costumes, you heard the stories behind them. It was quite interesting.
We spent a lovely afternoon on Sunday at a downtown winery doing a little wine tasting and just visiting. Wild Women Winery. We really enjoyed ourselves and the gals helping us were great. That’s another thing I’d definitely do again.
It was a wonderful weekend getting a little culture and visiting together. It’s great to have visitors. Of course now I need to get ready for the two workshops I have this week and I hear that Thanksgiving is next week so I should definitely start thinking about that! 🙂
Not only are stitches a classic trend, they illustrate the quality, precision, and extra care taken when creating a piece. When you give a stitched gift it shows just how much you value that relationship. Starting November 1, you can purchase Stitched Shapes Framelits ahead of their official release in the 2017-2018 annual catalog! With Stitched Shapes Framelits you can make thoughtful paper stitches in seconds, turning any project into one that is stitched from the heart. And during the month of November, coordinating stamp sets are 25% off! But don’t worry…Stitched Shapes Framelits will still be available for purchase after November 30.
You can see the list of stamp sets on sale below or check them out here in my online store. I can’t wait to order mine? How about you?

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! You…my friends, customers, blog followers, fellow demonstrators and supporters are THE BEST!
Because of all of you and your support of my business I’ve earned Stampin’ Up!’s incentive trip to Phuket Thailand! Woo Hoo! I am SO excited! The trip isn’t until next July but I’m really looking forward to it. This is the first “big trip” that I’ve earned. Stampin’ Up! used to have “Getaway” trips which were a little easier to earn. I was able to go to San Diego and Newport Beach on those but this is the first time I’ve earned the major incentive trip. Have I mentioned how excited I am?
Thank you again for all of your support! You’re the best!
Happy World Card Making Day! Are you planning on making cards today? I’m hoping to get a few cards made if I can fit it in with all of the cooking and cleaning I need to get done today. Stampin’ Up! has some great card making products on sale to help us celebrate World Card Making Day but don’t miss out….the sale is only 5 days long. Check out all of the great sale items below or view them here.

I have to tell you that I love the Designer Tin of Cards Project Kit! I just made the 16 cards last week and they are great. You get everything you need to make the cards except the stamp set and inks. Fast Fuse is also a favorite of mine. I had some problems working with it when it first came out but now I love it. I’ll definitely be stocking up on that!
I know! I need to stop traveling so I can post to my blog more. Ha! That’s not going to happen but I will try to be more diligent about posting.
We just returned from another trip to the MN Homeland. I was able to visit the Minnesota State Fair with my family one day (first picture) and over the Labor Day Weekend my sisters and I hosted a party to celebrate my mom’s 80th birthday. Her birthday really isn’t until November but it’s so much easier for people to travel in September in that part of the country. The second picture is of me with my mom.
The fun wasn’t over yet. The day after the party my husband, son and daughter-in-law headed up to Canada to my husband’s family cabin for about 5 days of fun, fishing and relaxation. We caught plenty of fish, played games and were actually able to watch our Denver Broncos on Thursday Night beat the Carolina Panthers! Woo Hoo!
The fishing was really good. We all caught plenty and everyone caught some nice big ones that were fun to reel in. My husband caught the biggest fish of the week. A beautiful walleye. We didn’t have time to weigh or measure it because we wanted to get it back in the water right after the photo-op.
Yes, it was a good day! My birthday was wonderful even if I did have to turn a year older. Ha!
I started the day out with breakfast with a friend. Yummy! I love breakfasts! I just kind of relaxed and played a little in my craft room for most of the day. Then I went out to dinner with my family and then the best part of the day….we went and saw the new Star Trek Beyond! Woo Hoo! The perfect ending to a wonderful day!
My lovely customer Sue made me this fun birthday banner! Isn’t it great?! It’s definitely something to hang on to and bring out for any birthday celebration. Thanks Sue!
Well, tomorrow is Stamp Camp so I have a lot of work to get done today in prep for the big day. No more parties or celebrating. Definitely no more big meals! Ha!
I’m not shy about it. It’s my birthday today and I love to celebrate! As I mentioned in my last post I’m usually in Salt Lake City celebrating at Stampin’ Up!’s Convention but not this year. 🙁
At the SU event in April we were challenged to hold a new event each month for the next 6 months. I chose to hold a bingo event! I’ve heard of playing Stampin’ Up! Bingo before but wasn’t sure how it was done until I learned more from fellow demonstrators online. One of them came up with the Flamingo Bingo theme and I knew I had to follow since I LOVE Flamingos! And that’s how Cindy’s Flamingo Bingo Birthday Bash came to be! #6monthstampingoals
We had a lot of fun! We played six rounds of Bingo with prizes, had door prizes, welcome gifts, snacks, wine, cupcakes and of course made a couple of cards. The fee for the evening covered all of the door prizes and snacks.
I found a website that made up a Bingo card with any words in it that I wanted. It was great! I used my favorite new SU products since it was my birthday party! 🙂
Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and of course loved winning prizes! If I do it again I’ll have to change a few things. I didn’t have a plan for if two people had Bingo at the same time. I also hadn’t decided whether or not a person could win more than once. This was a fun event. Maybe I’ll have a Bingo Birthday Bash every year!
For every $50 you spend between July 7 and July 31, you’ll get a $5 Bonus Days coupon that you can use between August 2–31, 2016.
Bonus Days coupon codes will be delivered via email, so an email address is required to participate in this promotion. Stampin’ Up! cannot resend emails with coupon codes, so make sure you save the email and write down the codes in a safe place so you don’t miss out on the coupons you earn.
Have you started your wish list yet? Get shopping! You can place your orders online or directly through me.
Do you realize that not only will you get a Bonus Coupon for every $50 you spend during July but also will receive a point in my Customer Appreciation Program! Woo Hoo! You can’t go wrong!
Be sure to contact me with any questions you may have. Have fun shopping and earning those coupons!
Have you seen it yet? It’s FABULOUS! I know, I know….I say that every year but this catalog really is fantastic. There are so many wonderful new products! You really need to check it out!
If you would like your very own hands-on copy be sure to contact me. I’d love to make sure that you get one.
I thought I knew exactly what I was going to order this morning but I spent a good portion of the day refining my order so I could put it in as soon as I got up this morning.
You’re thinking that I shouldn’t be quite this excited about the new catalog since I’ve been flipping through the pages for over a month now but as of TODAY I can order anything in it that I want.
Luckily my very favorite item in the new catalog was available for me to pre-order so I’ve been able to play with it a little bit. What is it you ask? It’s the Pop of Paradise stamp set (pg. 85). It has a flamingo in it! For some reason I really like flamingos. Once you’ve had a chance to look through the catalog you’ll have to let me know what your favorite item is.
Have fun browsing the new catalog. I know you’ll love it as much as I do. Have a great day! Take care and Happy Stamping!
What are you going to do with me?!!! I just can’t seem to stay on top of my blogging. 🙁
I’ve been in the Canadian wilderness for the past week or so at the family cabin. It’s SO beautiful up there. I just LOVE it! The only draw back to the Canadian wilderness is that it’s…..a wilderness. No internet! Yikes! Once in awhile we can get data and texts on our smart phones but only if we’re lucky. Actually, it’s not too bad being without the internet but it does make it a bit difficult to stay on top of and run a business…..
Views like the ones you see here in my post are what make it all worthwhile though….even if it takes us two days by car to get there.
Now that I’m back home though I’m anxious to get back to work. I haven’t really had a chance to play with my new toys (new stamps, ink pads, etc!). It’s time to get down to business and create! Hopefully I’ll get some fun samples done soon to share with you. Stay tuned!
There’s only a few days left to order from the 2015-2016 Catalog and the 2016 Occasions Catalog. Don’t miss it! Place those orders today! 🙂
I’m back! We had another fabulous time in Salt Lake City. Here’s a picture of (most of) the gals that I hung out with. Laura, Laura, me, Jan and Janet.
The event didn’t actually start until Thursday afternoon but we went on Wednesday and gathered that evening to make cards. (What? Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators making cards?!) We each brought all the pieces and parts of our cards that were already stamped, die cut and punched. Then we put together each other’s cards. It was a lot of fun. The cards were pretty cute too. I may have to borrow some of them for a future class!
As always, we had tons of fun together. Did I mention that we got to see the FABULOUS new catalog that will come out on June 1st? 🙂
I can’t share anything about it yet but I know you’re going to LOVE it!
Be sure to stay tuned all week as I share things from On Stage 2016! #onstage2016
