3 x 3 Thursday: Cool Treats

Cool Treats3x3A cute and fun little card for a hot summer day….oh, wait….it’s a cool spring day!  Whatever….it’s a cute little card perfect to include with a gift, stick in a lunch box for a special someone, hide in a desk….you get the picture!

This little card was made using the Cool Treats stamp set and the COORDINATING Frozen Treats Framelits.  The good news is that both of these items will be in the new, upcoming 2017-2018 Annual Catalog.  The bad news is that you won’t get to purchase them in a bundle and save 10%.  The other bad news is that you won’t be able to purchase the Tasty Treats Specialty Designer Series Paper in the new catalog either.  But more good news…The Tasty Treats Specialty Designer Series Paper is still available (as of this writing) so if you want it….get it now!

Looking at this little ice cream cone is actually making me want one.  The Peekaboo Peach stamped ice cream is looking a lot like Orange Sherbet to me!  Yum!  What color/flavor would you stamp your ice cream?

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

3 x 3 Thursday: Daisy Delight Sneak Peek!

Daisy DelightI didn’t need another flower stamp set….yet here we are….

Of course I needed the new, upcoming Daisy Delight stamp set!  Not only is it fresh and fun but there’s a COORDINATING Daisy Punch!  Woo Hoo!

Look how cute and fun this little flower is!  Doesn’t it say summer?  Yes, here in Colorado we’re looking towards summer already….the calendar says spring but they’re predicting 3″-5″ of snow on Saturday!  Really?!  It’s almost May!  Well, welcome to spring in Colorado…

If you look close at the daisy on the card you will see that I actually stamped and punched the daisy twice to get the full flower.  I just adhered the centers together and I have a full flower.

The Daisy Delight stamp set and the Daisy punch are part of the Delightful Daisy Suite in the upcoming catalog.  In this suite you’ll also find fun ribbons, faceted gems that work perfectly for the flower centers and the most GORGEOUS designer paper ever!  Ok…maybe not ever but the Delightful Daisy Designer Paper is fabulous….I know you’re going to love it.  So when you get your new catalog be sure to check out the suite on pages 126-127!  🙂

Speaking of the new catalog….be sure to contact me if you’d like to receive your very own copy!  I’ll be ordering them next week!

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

3 x 3 Thursday: Avant Garden

AvantGarden.0317I think I’ve mentioned at least once or twice that I really, really like this flower and stamp set.  🙂

The Avant Garden stamp set is gorgeous and you can get it for FREE during Sale-a-bration!  It doesn’t get much better than that!

It’s 3 x 3 Thursday.  I haven’t had one of these for awhile.  I like to put little 3 x 3 thank you notes in with the orders for my customers.

Yes, this is basically the same layout that I used on the Avant Garden card that I showed you last week but it’s such a great and versatile layout that I had to use it on these little notes!

I think I’ve found a new favorite color combination:  Rich Razzleberry and Sweet Sugarplum.  Yum!  They work so well together!  Do you have a favorite Stampin’ Up! color combination?  Leave me a comment and let me know what it is!

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

Make it Mine Monday: Sealed With Love Notes

Sealed With Love.1It’s Monday!  Make it Mine Monday!  Woo Hoo!

It’s also time to start thinking about Valentines.  Yep, Valentines.  These cute little 3 x 3 notes are my take on the ones we made at Stampin’ Up!’s November On Stage event.  You can see the ones that Stampin’ Up! designed in the second picture.

The first thing I changed on my little cards Sealed With Love.2was to get rid of the color green.  I’m sorry….Valentines aren’t green.  Save the green for St. Patrick’s Day!  Ha!

Stampin’ Up! used the Sending Love Designer Series Paper for the bases of the cards but I used Thick Whisper White card stock on all of mine.  On the first and third cards I just cut a 3 x 3 piece of designer paper and adhered it to the front of the card.

On the card in the upper right it’s hard to tell from the picture but I colored the wooden Sending Love embellishment red by rubbing the Real Red ink on it with a Sponge Dauber.  Did you know that you could do that?  Yep.  Just make sure to heat set it so the ink dries before you handle it.

Don’t you love the little envelopes in the center cards?  They’re made from the Sending Love Glassine Sheets and the Love Notes Framelits.

Can you see how easy it is to start with something and just change it up a bit to make it your own?  I hope you’re enjoying my Make it Mine Mondays.  Let me know what you think.  Take care and Happy Stamping!

Sealed With Love Mini Cards

sealed-with-love-onstageAre you tired of Christmas already?

What?  Who am I kidding?  I just freaked out yesterday when I realized that Thanksgiving is only 2 weeks away.  Yikes!  I can’t be tired of Christmas yet because I haven’t even begun to think about it!

These fun little 3″ x 3″ cared are made with a brand new stamp set called Sealed With Love that will be premiering in the 2017 Occasions Catalog.  We made these cards at the On Stage event in Phoenix on Saturday.  Guess what?  This stamp set has coordinating Framelits!  Yep!  The Love Note Framelits coordinate perfectly with the Sealed With Love stamp set.

Check out the adorable little glassine envelope on the card in the upper right.  It’s SO cute!  You can even die cut the little insert that fits perfectly in the envelope.  Too fun!  Yep!  The Sending Love Suite in the 2017 Occasions Catalog is pretty darn cute and I know you’re going to love it!

The bases of the cards are made with the fun red & white Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stack.  There are all sorts of different designs in this pack.  Some with hearts and some not so that you can use it for occasions other than Valentines Day.

Would you like to receive a hard copy of the new 2017 Occasions Catalog and the 2017 Sale-a-bration Brochure?  Send me your street address and I’ll get you on my list.  I know you’ll want your own copies of these fabulous new publications.

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

Simple Saturday: A Sneak Peek

Halloween.1.0816It’s Simple Saturday AND a sneak peek!  How great is that?!!!  🙂

Stampin’ Up! has fabulous designer paper and what better way to make a simple card than to use it as the focal point or background of your card.

I couldn’t resist making these little fun and easy 3″ x 3″ cards.  They are both made with the Halloween Nights Designer Series Paper that you will find in the upcoming Holiday Catalog.  The little haunted house scene is printed in strips over and over again on the 12″ x 12″ sheet.  I simply trimmed out one little tiny scene, mounted it on a slightly larger piece of Basic Black card stock and then popped that up on my card.

The spider web card is only slight my involved.  The little spider web, spiders and words are from the Spooky Fun stamp set.  They fit perfectly on my little 3″ x 3″ card.  I added some layers and now I have a fun little spooky card!

The Halloween Nights Designer Paper pack is full of fun and spooky designs.  I know you’re going to love it.  If you don’t have a copy of the upcoming Holiday Catalog you can request one from me (cindy@stampbystampcreations.com) or check online on September 1st.  I know you’re going to love it!

Have a fun and Simple Saturday!  Enjoy!

3 x 3 Thursday: Love You Sew

IMG_7763Isn’t this adorable?  The Love You Sew stamp set is stinkin’ cute and I knew I had to have it.  However….you can’t buy it.  It’s a hostess set only.  Don’t fret.  You still have a couple of weeks to get it.  Put that final order together from the current catalog and stock up on things you use a lot of like card stock, envelopes and adhesive.  It adds up fast and you’ll be at that minimum for a hostess order ($150) really fast!  Or you can get some friend together and you can all place one big order.  Just don’t miss out!  🙂

I’m sad….I haven’t had time to play with all my new toys!  They’re just sitting on my stamp shelf looking pretty. 🙁

I’ve been seeing lots of great ideas though for those many stamp sets.  One of these days….one of these days….!

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

3″ x 3″ Thursday: Grateful Bunch

IMG_7717So simple.  So cute.  I know I’ve said this before but I love 3″ x 3″ notes.  They’re fun to design and they’re easy to make.

I like designing them because you don’t have to worry about filling such a big area.  That’s probably why my favorite new card size is      4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″.

This little card was especially simple.  Ok…most of my 3″ x 3″ cards are the same basic design:  card, popped-up layer, focal point.  One of these days I will try something new but you know the saying….”if it ain’t broke don’t fix it”!  This design works for me so I use it.  At least I use different stamp sets on the cards.  🙂

I’m getting excited.  One week from today Stampin’ Up!’s On Stage event begins!  Woo Hoo!  I can’t wait to see all of the fabulous things they will show us and best of all….see the new catalog!  Did I say “Woo Hoo” yet?  🙂

Do you follow me on Facebook?  It will probably be the best way to keep on top of the crazy things my friends and I will be doing next week.  Here’s the link.   Just “like” my page and you’ll be able to follow all of our fun at On Stage Live.

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

3″ x 3″ Thursday: Endless Thanks

IMG_7683Thank you!  Thank you!  Thank you!  We never say this enough do we?  I am blessed and have so much to be thankful for including all of you!

This little 3″ x 3″ note is one that I recently enclosed with my customer’s orders.  I try to enclose a note whenever they place an order.

This little note includes a few of by new favorite things.  Ok…they “things” aren’t that new but they’re new as my favorites.  🙂

I’m in love with the font in the Endless Thanks stamp set.  There’s just something about it.  I’m also in love with the Watermelon Wonder color.  I don’t think it will actually take over Melon Mambo as my absolute favorite Stampin’ Up! color but it comes close.  What is your favorite Stampin’ Up! color?

Speaking of colors….don’t forget that the 2014-2016 In-Colors will be leaving us at the end of May.  Now is the time to stock up on these colors (especially the ink refills!) before the Retired List comes out.  Don’t miss out!

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

Barnyard Babies Easter Cards

Barnyard Babies.0316I was looking for something on my shelf of stamps and my eyes stopped on the Barnyard Babies stamp set.  The little light bulb went off and I knew I had to make some cute little Easter notes with the stamps.

Didn’t they turn out cute?  I just love the little critters in this stamp set and they’re the perfect size for a little 3″ x 3″ note.  Won’t these be perfect for a little Easter gift?

I can’t believe that Easter is almost here.  I realize that it’s pretty early this year but still…..those 6 weeks of Lent went by pretty darn fast!  I should probably start thinking about getting all those Easter cards I made in the mail!  Concept…right?  🙂

What type of foods do you make for Easter?  We gather with the neighbors and everyone brings something.  My job is the “Easter Potatoes”.  They’re the hash brown casserole with corn flakes on top….everyone’s favorite.  Ham and Easter Potatoes.  What else could you want for a meal?

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

3″ x 3″ Thursday: Birthday Bash!

IMG_5757It’s a fun and simple card for 3″ x 3″ Thursday!  The design is from the fun, new specialty designer paper Birthday Bash!  This set of papers contain bright and fun designs perfect for birthdays and other celebrations.

Designer paper is my go-to when I need a quick and easy card.  This card was perfect for the last batch of thank you notes that I like to include with orders….especially since I almost forgot to include them.  Yikes!

The ribbon on the card just finishes off this card perfectly.   Have I ever mentioned that I LOVE ribbon?  🙂  Yep!  I’m the one who designs a project around the colors and types of ribbons she has on hand!  Ha!

I’m looking forward to creating this weekend.  It’s time to start planning my upcoming classes.  I can’t wait!  I haven’t had a chance to just sit down and “play” for an awfully long time!  I’ve figured out that I’ve been on three different trips in the last six weeks.  Wow!  I think it’s time to stay home and get things done!

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

3 x 3 Thursday: A Happy Heart Thanks

IMG_5037It’s 3 x 3 Thursday!  Not only do you get an adorable 3 x 3 card today but you get it’s matching full-size card!  Woo Hoo!

Aren’t today’s card’s sweet?  How can they not be when I used the adorable new Happy Heart Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  Wouldn’t these hearts look cute on a baby card?  Hmmm….I may have to give that a try!  I just love all those little hearts.  They make me smile.  🙂

These cards were so easy to make.  I first embossed my piece of Strawberry Slush card stock.  Then I stamped my “thanks!” from the Lot’s of Thanks stamp set on Pink Pirouette card stock and punched it out with the Sweetheart Punch.  I added some layers and ribbon on the larger card and I was done!  Adorable and EASY!

I started playing with my Sale-a-bration items last night.  Woo Hoo!  Have you picked out your favorite SAB item?  What is it?  Leave me a comment and let me know!

Have a great day.  Take care and Happy Stamping!

3 x 3 Thursday: Wetlands

026Another 3 x 3 Thursday and another cute and simple card.  These little cards are easy to make and fun to give.  I know that my customers enjoy getting them with their orders.  It’s a nice little surprise.  Have I mentioned that I don’t write in the little card itself?  I write on a sticky note so then the recipient can reuse it!   I’ve heard of some people doing this with full size cards.

I used the Wetlands stamp set for the grains and the Says It All stamp set for the sentiment.   The yellow is the new Hello Honey.  I think of it as a softer, lighter More Mustard.  Very nice.  Which color do you prefer?  The new Hello Honey or the old More Mustard?  I love to hear what you think?  Leave a comment and let me know!

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

3 x 3 Thursday: Four Feathers

002It’s 3 x 3 Thursday!  Today’s cute little card is made with the Four Feathers stamp set.   Yep….another one of those stamp sets that I didn’t need until I saw all sorts of wonderful samples made with it.

I’ll call this my “soft” card because the colors I used on it are Soft Sky and Soft Suede.  Don’t they work nicely together?  The cute “thank you” is from the Lots of Thanks stamp set.  Isn’t this a great font?  This is one of those stamp sets where all of the sentiments are printed with different fonts.

I bet you know what my favorite part of this card is, don’t you?  Yep….the COORDINATING Feathers Framelits Dies to cut out the feather!  Coordination!  Woo Hoo!  🙂

We’re off to the Minnesota Homeland again.  This time for a wedding.  No hard labor for this girl on the trip!  Hubby is staying longer though to go close up the family cabin.   I have things to do, places to go and people to see back her in Colorado!

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!

3 x 3 Thursday: Flamingo Lingo!

021Pink flamingos!  How can a card get any better?  🙂

It’s 3 x 3 Thursday and here is another card that I’ve used as a thank you in my orders.   Little cards like this are fun and easy to make.

For some reason I’m extremely busy these days.  I can’t believe it’s almost October!  Sheesh!  I have events to plan and cut for as well as my every day (boring) chores.  I’d just like to sit down and play with all of my new toys from the Holiday Catalog.  I see so many adorable samples that I want to copy but I just don’t have the time!  🙁

I guess I should try to get more organized…..either that or stop playing games on my iPad and reading books!  Do have the same problem?  Is there a little something in your life that you enjoy doing that you shouldn’t do as much as you do?  Leave a comment and let me know.  I’d like to know I’m not the only one who wastes too much time!

Have a great day!  Take care and Happy Stamping!
